Beach and sea

Sustainable holidays with the beach and the sea

This year our coast has been awarded the European Blue and Green Flags. The first has been awarded to us every year without fail since 2006, taking management, environmental education, water quality, equipment, services and security into account. Green flags have been awarded to us by Italian Paediatricians for our beaches which are considered suitable for families with children aged 0 to 18 years.
These are two major awards that confirm the quality and sustainability of tourism on our coast and the special attention we pay to holidays for teens and children.

A safe space for relaxation and fun

Our beach stretches continuously for 15 km from the Lighthouse of Cavallino to Punta Sabbioni. Imagine seeing a large smooth surface, covered with fine golden sand that slopes gently into the sea and extends deep into sand dunes and a pine forest.
This is what the waterfront of Cavallino Treporti looks like. It is a big space, which is safe and secure, where children can play in complete tranquillity and, above all, where everyone can freely engage in whichever activity they choose, including relaxation, sports and entertainment.
The size of the beaches and spaces specially equipped for bowling, beach volleyball and football allow everyone to have fun without disturbing those who are enjoying sun bathing or relaxing with a good book under an umbrella. Here, adults, teens and children can enjoy the beach safely and freely, each enjoying their own perfect holiday.

Behind the beach there are rolling sand dunes where rushes and reed windbreaks grow and there is a vast pine forest that extends beyond them. Here, in the shade of a dense and lush vegetation, you will find refreshment on hot days and admire various species of pine, tamarisk and rare species of willow and wild orchids.

The Alto Adriatic, a sea of opportunity!

Another highlight of our area is the sea which is clean, safe and suitable for everyone. The gradually descending shore and the shallow waters along the coast allow everyone to dive into our coastal waters. Children can play happily on the shore and learn to become familiar with the water. Meanwhile adults can choose to relax quietly on a sun bed, go for a dip or have a go at the many water sports that can be practised in the area. Sailing, surfing, kite surfing, wind surfing... the opportunities are endless and you will be spoiled for choice!

And did you know that diving into our sea or strolling along the shores of the Upper Adriatic is a real blessing for the whole family? The water of our coastline is rich in iodine and has excellent therapeutic properties.

This is just another reason to start planning your next holiday in this enchanting corner of paradise!
